Excella
Excella offered me a position that I could not pass up. Although the company was headquartered in Arlington, VA, they had an Extension Center located in Blacksburg, VA, right beside Virginia Tech. This Extension Center was a place that hired interns from local universities and paired them up with an experienced Team Lead on real projects. So not only would I be working with a great company on some amazing projects, but mentoring interns would also be a core part of my job.
I worked on a variety of projects and picked up a lot of new tech stacks in a short period of time. If you look at the languages I've used per year, you can probably tell what year I worked for Excella just by seeing all the languages that were used.
