Qualtrax

Even while working at Excella, I remained in close contact with my friends from Qualtrax. As great as Excella was, there was a part of me that missed working on a single product with a small team. After a few conversations I made the difficult choice to go back to Qualtrax, only this time I would be primarily focusing on our backend code.

Not long after my return, I became the team lead for a team of three engineers called the Ghostbusters. We were mostly responsible for fixing emergency issues while refactoring our massive legacy product.

Ideagen acquired Qualtrax just a little bit before I left. It was a bittersweet moment for sure. Sadly not many of the same folks work there today.
