Qualtrax

Qualtrax was a place that really shaped who I am not only as an engineer, but as a person. We had a culture of learning with book clubs and communities of practice. We all continued to push each other to be the best versions of ourselves. I not only wrote code but I also traveled to do trainings, spoke as our keynote speaker at our User's Conference, and sometimes even designed logos for various things we participated in.

All the engineers were full-stack engineers but I quickly transitioned to spending most of my time on the front-end because that is where we were the weakest when I came onboard.

Team: Product Core Team

• Evangelized and implemented total refactor of CSS architecture using SMACSS and SASS.
• Started transition of WebForms to an AngularJS front end.
• Major contributor to the open source tool Huburn, which allowed the team to monitor agile metrics.
• Implemented a Health Check Model to measure things about the team that agile metrics did not.
• Keynote speaker at the 2017 Qualtrax User Conference and the 2017 A2LA Tech Forum.
